Our Stories
The Promise Conference has decided to promote and proclaim local women of Bendigo doing God's work. These are some of their stories...
Tracey Wolsley (2011) - Founder of 'Our Place', 'Our Shed' , and now, 'Our House'
Tracey founded Our Place after the horrific Black Saturday bushfires which had effected so many in the Long Gully/ Eaglehawk areas. A place for people to feel connected, feel valued and able to help not only themselves, but others!
Tracey spoke about the little things in us that God has gifted us - a little bit of strength, a little faith, a little courage - all of which He will develop, if you take the risk. She reminded us that we all have faults and insecurities, but that they are particular to us - outsiders don't see or feel that. God gives you the raw materials and He will help you build on them. Things you thought that were in no way possible, happen because you take a risk and allow God to help you grow and form.
Let go of the doubts, risk the lot - the rewards are great!
